Technical Project Engineer / Engineering Coordinator
Location: Hinkley Point C / Hybrid (Note the office is site based)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
The role
We're looking for an Engineer with project experience to join a major infrastructure project, helping to coordinate design, engineering, and construction activities.
This is not a pure project manager role - it's ideal for someone from an engineering background (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar) who has started to move into project delivery, coordination, and stakeholder management.
You’ll play a key role in keeping projects organised, ensuring teams are aligned, and helping resolve issues to keep delivery on track.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating between engineering, design, and construction teams
- Supporting the delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality targets
- Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders across the project
- Tracking progress and ensuring key activities are completed on time
- Identifying risks and helping to resolve issues quickly
- Supporting planning, scheduling, and reporting
- Helping improve processes and ways of working
Experience required
- Background in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar)
- Around 2-6 years' experience in engineering or construction projects
- Experience supporting or delivering projects (not necessarily leading them)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Keen to develop further into a project-focused role
