Maintenance Engineer

Alpha Manufacturing, part of The HEX Group, is a privately‑owned business fabricating sheet metal in the UK.

Job Summary

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of sheet metal fabrication machinery including Amada press brakes.
• Trumpf machinery including punches, lasers, and press brakes.
• Industrial powder coating equipment – Gema.
• Working on call one week in every three – holiday cover may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience of machinery used within a modern sheet metal fabrication company.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible attitude to work.
• Experience of TPM procedures.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience of PLC systems (advantageous, not essential).
