Naked Energy is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to produce the design of renewable energy systems on commercial and industrial buildings. The designed systems will comprise Naked Energy’s Virtu solar heat and power technology, which may be paired with heat pumps, thermal storage, PV and other low‑carbon technologies to provide low‑carbon and carbon‑free energy systems for C&I clients.
The successful candidate will work within a small team and be responsible for the design of projects from conception to completion, drawing in external engineers from mechanical, structural and other disciplines as required. They will prepare costed design of renewable heat and power systems, including SLDs & wiring schematics for control systems, key component sizing and selection, electrical load schedules, specifications, CAD design. They will pay close attention to the health and safety aspects of the design and will be able to support more junior members of the team.
The senior EC&I design engineer will also produce reports, participate in client meetings, and engage construction partners to develop projects for costing and estimating.
