Job Summary
Field Service Engineer – Gluing Systems. Experienced or entry‑level field engineer to install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites in the packaging industry. Work mostly in the UK, with occasional travel to Germany.
Location
UK coverage, predominantly North England, Scotland and Ireland. Commutable locations include Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Carlisle, Preston, Sheffield.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary: GBP 40,000 – 45,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, servicing and repairs of equipment.
- Diagnose technical faults and provide effective solutions.
- Carry out preventative maintenance visits.
- Keep accurate service reports and documentation.
- Provide customer training and support where required.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure timely job completion.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer (preferred, but entry‑level candidates considered).
- Knowledge of gluing systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of packaging industry (corrugated or folding cartons).
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Qualifications in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or related field (preferred).
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Self‑motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial and an excellent team player.
