Our client, a highly specialised engineering company, is looking to strengthen its Sales Team with the appointment of a Technical Sales Engineer. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong mechanical engineering background and proven experience in selling complex mechanical systems.
The business is long-established within a niche area of engineering and, following recent investment, is entering a period of significant growth. They are seeking a technically capable and commercially driven individual to develop both new and existing customer relationships. Key Requirements
- A strong mechanical engineering background (essential) - ideally qualified or with equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience in technical sales within a regulated environment
- The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into engineered solutions
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline and diary
- The ambition to develop your career and contribute ideas to support business growth
The Role
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process
- Represent the company in a professional and consultative manner
