Overview
Want to build reliable, scalable AWS infrastructure that engineers trust and rely on?
Ready to own cloud automation, CI/CD, and observability in a role where reliability really matters?
About our Team
Our global team supports the production infrastructure which underpins a range of the company’s products and services. These services form the core platform and user experience for our customers. We have a stable, well-established product that we continuously maintain and improve. Our team values trust, respect, collaboration, agility, and quality.
About the Role
You’ll build and operate reliable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, supporting secure, automated deployments through GitHub Actions. Working closely with engineering teams, you’ll improve system resilience through containerisation, monitoring, observability, and performance optimisation—ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and cost‑effective.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Create and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable reliable, automated deployments
- Develop and maintain containerised services using Docker
- Build automation and tooling using Bash and Python
- Operate and improve AWS services including networking, compute, serverless, messaging, and databases
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve system reliability and visibility
- Support resilience through capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and runbooks
- Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, reliability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience working with AWS services (such as VPC, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS/PostgreSQL)
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git and GitHub
- Experience working with containers (Docker)
- Ability to write scripts or automation using Bash and/or Python
- Experience working in Linux‑based environments
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g. CloudWatch, New Relic, Coralogix)
- Experience building or supporting reliable, scalable systems
