Power BI Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. During the initial onboarding period (first 3 weeks), the role will require full on-site presence to ensure effective integration with the team and business processes. After this period, the position will transition to a hybrid work model with 3 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and queries
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reports
• Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.)
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions and resolve data-related issues
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Document processes, data models, and reporting solutions

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer/Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

Nice to have:

• Experience with large-scale data environments
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Microsoft certifications related to Power BI or data analytics
