We’re currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a busy manufacturing site, playing a key role in keeping operations running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
This is a great opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem-solving, and working across a variety of industrial equipment.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Reading and working from electrical and mechanical drawings
- Maintaining a range of machinery including:
- Plasma & gas cutting machinery
- Sawing and drilling equipment
- Welders and grinders
- Forklifts and sideloaders
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors when required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
✅ What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- ✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
