Overview
QA Engineer – Ampthill. Paying up to 45,000 (DOE). Please note - due to the nature of the role you all applicants need to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Work across multiple projects being the point of contact for quality issues.
- Manage non-conformances through the process, including facilitating RCCA.
- Documentation reviews and approvals.
- Attending design reviews.
- Input to bids and proposals for quality.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from the shop floor to senior management, across a variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
- Strong decision-making capability, with a willingness to take ownership and accountability for resolving issues through to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information.
- High level of proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with SAP Quality module is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrable experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions is essential.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards) would be advantageous
