QA Engineer

Overview

QA Engineer – Ampthill. Paying up to 45,000 (DOE). Please note – due to the nature of the role you all applicants need to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple projects being the point of contact for quality issues.
• Manage non-conformances through the process, including facilitating RCCA.
• Documentation reviews and approvals.
• Attending design reviews.
• Input to bids and proposals for quality.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from the shop floor to senior management, across a variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Strong decision-making capability, with a willingness to take ownership and accountability for resolving issues through to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information.
• High level of proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP Quality module is desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions is essential.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards) would be advantageous
