Role
Environmental Protection Officer – part of the Regulatory Services section within the Environmental Health Team. You will deliver quality services on complex issues affecting quality of life and be involved in wider services including air quality, nuisance, LA‑PPC and consultations on planning and contaminated land. Qualified officers will also deputise and support the management functions of the Environmental Health Team Leader.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional officer with excellent administration, communication and IT skills, an attention to detail and the ability to tackle issues holistically. Whether you are a qualified and experienced officer across these disciplines or a specialist with experience in one aspect wanting to broaden your knowledge, this post offers an opportunity to make a positive impact. A full driving licence is required.
Salary and Hours
£32,597 – £36,363 (annual)
