We are recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an established M&E contractor based in Bridgend. This is a permanent opportunity offering long‑term stability, a varied project portfolio, and the chance to play a key role within a growing design team.

The position suits an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who enjoys hands‑on design work while supporting and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design solutions across multiple projects
• Produce detailed electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
• Manage design workloads, priorities, and resources
• Support and mentor junior engineers within the design team
• Liaise with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure designs meet relevant standards, regulations, and best practice
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design quality and processes

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience in electrical design within building services or M&E contracting
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software
• Good understanding of UK electrical standards and regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
