Product Support Engineer (Mechanical)

Contract Type: Ongoing Contract
Rate: £25-£30 PAYE (Umbrella option available)

The Opportunity
We are currently partnering with a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation to recruit a mechanically biased Product Support Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment where no two days are the same.
You will play a key role in supporting engineering projects from concept through to production, ensuring high standards are maintained while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings
- Provide hands‑on support within production, including troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Generate and manage new parts within the PLM system
- Update legacy drawings to meet current specifications and standards
- Collaborate with senior management and multidisciplinary teams
- Produce clear and accurate technical documentation
What We're Looking For
- Minimum HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Practical, hands‑on mechanical experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred; other systems considered)
- Experience with 2D CAD would be advantageous
- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation
