Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Repairs Manager and Supervisor based in London. The role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of elevator and escalator repair projects, ensuring their timely and efficient completion. Responsibilities include managing repair teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, communicating with clients, resolving technical issues, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The Repairs Manager and Supervisor will also develop repair schedules, manage resources effectively, and liaise with other departments to ensure operational success.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Strong technical knowledge in elevator and escalator systems, including repair and maintenance
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee a team of technicians
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and industry compliance standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for project management and tracking
  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within the elevator or related mechanical industry is preferred
  • Relevant technical or engineering qualifications (e.g., degree, certification, or equivalent experience)
