Are you an ecologist who wants to make a difference and help drive Nature Recovery in the Forest of Bowland National Landscape?
We’d love to hear from you!
We have secured capital funding to deliver Wildlife‑Rich Habitat and 30×30 projects across the protected landscape over the next three years. This post will sit within our Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) Team, working closely with land managers, farmers and partners across the area.
We’re looking for someone with strong, broad ecological knowledge of the habitats found in the Forest of Bowland -someone who can use that expertise to advise a wide range of land managers, support the wider National Landscape team and deliver practical projects on the ground.
This is a varied and rewarding role. The work will be challenging at times, and you’ll need to be confident working with multiple partners to develop and implement Nature Recovery initiatives. In return, you’ll join a friendly, supportive team and have the chance to work in one of England’s finest landscapes.
Fixed Term Contract until March 2029
Starting Salary £36,365
