Field Service Engineer

Overview

FINTEC recruit is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer based in Western Isles, Scotland. The Field Service Engineer is a permanent role, salary banding £38,000 to £41,700 + benefits, plus regular overtime x1.5, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. Vehicle and fuel card provided. An additional on‑call allowance paid for out of hours call outs. Full training given on company products & equipment used etc.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of product range (electronic/electrical products)
• Update service records and input activity electronics capturing all requirements
• Liaising with customers on sites

Skills and experience required for the Field Service Engineer role

• Experience and qualified in an engineering discipline (electrical/electronics/mechanical)
• Good IT skills
• Experience or willingness for field service work/customer facing role
• Experience of working within a quality management system
• Hold a UK Driving Licence
