Junior Electrical Engineer

Key Duties

• Researching topics and collating data to identify recommendations for substation development.
• Evaluating transmission and distribution networks for new grid connections.
• Developing designs for substations and electrical networks.
• Participating in project management, bidding, and potential secondments, providing varied experience both internally and with clients.
• Engaging in business development activities, such as the Net Zero Superheroes school competition or Engineering Net Zero thought leadership.

• Being together in person helps build stronger relationships, collaborate more effectively, and accelerate your learning and development.
• Minimum BEng in an Electrical Engineering discipline, Energy Systems or Renewable Energy.
• Typical locations: Birmingham, Epsom, Glasgow, Leeds.
