Year 2 – Technical Growth
- Mechanical assignments and course work
- Mechanical Rebuild training – Jenbacher type 3 engine
- One day a week at college to complete Level 3
- Hands‑on overhaul and repair experience
Year 3 – Advanced Skills
- Jenbacher assignments and coursework
- Mechanical Rebuild training – Jenbacher type 4 engine
- Increased responsibility supporting overhaul projects
- Progress towards HNC (optional)
Year 4 – Professional Readiness
- Electrical installation work and engine re-wire experience
- 3‑month field service placement
- Mechanical Rebuild training – Jenbacher Type 624 engine
- Low Voltage course
- Final sign‑off and Apprenticeship Presentation
