Full Stack Web Developer

Stratospherec are delighted to be recruiting for an award winning UK Digital Agency who provide innovative digital products for a large variety of world-class commercial companies, as well as a broad range of Not for Profit, “Tech for Good” and NGO organisations. They are looking for a Junior or Mid-Level Full Stack Web Developer to work on projects alongside their development team and designers and account managers.

They are looking for a Web Developer with some experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ideally some knowledge of PHP or similar language and databases.

Your role will range from new front end and back end project development, actioning support requests and working on existing client projects to helping progress internal procedures and tools, all while improving their development tools and stack. My client are well respected for the training and mentoring they provide their developers and use real-world code on real tasks while supplementing theories with popular training courses, books and websites.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of PHP and MySQL (or comparable back-end experience)
  • Comfortable using Composer
  • An understanding of version control
  • Command line experience is a plus, but not essential
  • A person who has the drive to, and is willing to, learn new things and grow as a developer and team member

My client work from their lovely office in the Centre of Brighton, so would like you to come in to their office one or two days per week so ideally you would be able to commute to Brighton for office visits for this Web Developer role.

This role is paying to £35k with a really good benefits package (9 day working fortnight amongst other benefits), profit share, healthcare and wellness benefits.
