Commercial Data Consultant (Data & AI Consultancy) | London (Hybrid)
We're hiring a Consultant to join a fast-growing data & AI consultancy working closely with private equity funds and their portfolio companies to drive real commercial impact.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you'll lead projects end-to-end, manage small teams, and work directly with senior stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing
- Own and lead client projects end-to-end
- Manage and develop Associate & Senior Associate Consultants
- Work directly with senior stakeholders & C-suite
- Solve ambiguous, complex business problems with structured thinking
- Deliver clear, impactful insights and recommendations
What we’re looking for
- ~4+ years' experience in consulting / FS / startup environments
- Background in a smaller consultancy or high-growth setting
- Strong commercial acumen + structured problem solving
- Confident presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in agile, fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Projects will be across Data Engineering, GenAI, Data Science and BI/Reporting; we are looking for a candidate with experience in any/all of these areas.
- Client tech stack is Excel, Tableau, Power-BI, Python, SQL, Alteryx. You will need to have experience with a combination of these.
- This role would suit someone who is strong in the above-mentioned tech or someone from a consulting background with strong stakeholder management, presentation skills and the ability to mentor others. Or an individual who covers aspects of all these attributes.
