Job Description:
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll bridge finance and technology – owning requirements, advising on best practice, and ensuring robust financial processes are embedded into the system.
You will act as the finance subject matter expert across ERP implementations, working closely with product, engineering, and client finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance workstreams across ERP implementations
- Engage directly with client finance teams (accountants, controllers, CFOs)
- Translate financial requirements into system design and functionality
- Support configuration and optimisation of finance modules within ERP
- Advise on best practice across accounting, reporting, and controls
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance functionality
- Ensure continuity across existing client projects and ongoing delivery
Qualifications
- Strong finance background (qualified accountant or equivalent experience)
- Deep understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, reporting, controls)
- Experience working with ERP systems in a functional capacity
- Ability to lead conversations with senior finance stakeholders
- Commercial mindset with the ability to bridge finance and technology
- Experience with Acumatica
- Background in ERP implementation or transformation projects
Location & Working Arrangement
- London-based: Hybrid (2 days in office – Tues/Wed)
- Remote: Open to fully remote candidates outside London in the UK
- Fast‑paced, product‑led environment with direct exposure to leadership
