The Role

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Implementation, and Product. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects—combining deep technical and functional knowledge of our platform with the commercial awareness to design solutions that are compelling, feasible, and scalable. You’ll own the demonstration and solution‑design experience, work alongside our Sales team to win new business, and deliver structured handovers to Implementation so every customer begins with clarity and confidence.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing tailored solutions and delivering compelling product demonstrations to HR leaders, Operations heads, Finance directors, and CEOs
  • Leading technical discovery sessions to understand organisational requirements across HR, payroll, workforce management, compliance, and integrations
  • Translating complex technical and functional capabilities into clear, outcome‑focused messaging for every stakeholder in the room
  • Fielding technical and functional queries from prospects, guiding them through configuration options, integration pathways, and solution feasibility
  • Owning the structured handover from Sales to Implementation—documenting requirements, agreed configurations, and scope to ensure a seamless transition from sales promise to delivery
  • Managing and maintaining demo environments and datasets to ensure high‑quality, realistic client demonstrations
  • Contributing subject‑matter expertise to RFPs, tenders, proposals, pricing inputs, and business cases
  • Creating and maintaining sales‑enablement tools, technical content, and competitive positioning materials
  • Coaching the Sales team on product capabilities, technical differentiation, and solution positioning
  • Working cross‑functionally with Product, Implementation, and Operations to validate solution scope and influence the product roadmap with market insight
  • 3 years + Proven experience in Pre‑Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Sales Engineering within SaaS
  • Experience demonstrating and designing solutions around complex, multi‑module platforms for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong technical understanding of how HR, payroll, and workforce management systems work, including configuration, integrations, and data flows
  • The ability to translate technical detail into clear business outcomes for non‑technical audiences
  • Confidence in presenting to and fielding questions from HR professionals, operations and finance leaders, and C‑Suite executives
  • Experience supporting the full sales cycle: discovery, solution design, demonstrations, tenders, and handover to implementation
  • Strong organisation, self‑direction, and a professional approach to a commercially‑driven environment

Also Valued

  • Experience with HR/HCM platforms (BambooHR, Sage, Workday, BrightHR, or similar)
  • Understanding of integration standards and interoperability across HR, payroll, finance, and time systems
  • Background in scaling a SaaS product within an established market
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger
  • Track record of contributing to winning tenders and comprehensive proposal responses
