We’re supporting a growing education and training organisation that is looking to appoint a Payroll Officer on an initial 6‑month contract.

This is a part‑time position focused on managing and coordinating payroll activities internally, working closely with an outsourced payroll provider. The role will play a key part in ensuring payroll data is accurate, timely, and compliant, while also supporting a system transition from Sage to Xero.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership of payroll processes and is comfortable working across both permanent employees and contract staff.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Director, you’ll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day payroll coordination, ensuring all inputs are accurate and deadlines are met.

You’ll act as the key point of contact between the business and the outsourced payroll provider, while also supporting process improvements and the migration to a new finance system.
