Catering and Cleaning Manager – Cowdenbeath
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £39,400 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term contract until June 2028
The role involves overseeing the daily catering and cleaning operations at Exxon Chemicals in Cowdenbeath as part of a national contract. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality catering and cleaning services, maintain strong client relationships, focus on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day catering and cleaning operations
- Maintain high standards of food service, hygiene, and cleaning
- Build strong client relationships and handle communication
- Control budgets, stock, ordering, and costs
- Lead, train, and support team members
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in catering, facilities, or cleaning management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Financial awareness and experience managing budgets
- Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider national contract
