A great opportunity for a recent graduate seeking a position in geology, geotechnics, geo‑environmental consultancy and ground investigation has presented itself in Exeter. You'll be provided with specialist training from a team of award‑winning engineers and consultants on a variety of exciting projects across the midlands. This is a brilliant position to kickstart your career as a Geo‑Environmental Consultant and apply your university knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site walkovers.
• Carry out ground investigations and Phase 1 desktop studies.
• Take soil samples, groundwater and gas monitoring.
• Perform borehole logging.
• Prepare phase plans.
• Write factual and interpretive reports.
• Observe day‑to‑day tasks to develop geo‑environmental knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
• Experience in a geo‑environmental and/or geotechnical position.
• Willingness to work outdoors on hands‑on projects.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commutable to Exeter and surrounding area.
• Full right to work in the UK.
