Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Manage diverse sales channels including national accounts, wholesale, retail, and direct delivery.
  • Oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting for senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead channel development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high standards of professionalism.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the company at trade events and contribute to European-level sales activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior sales management role within FMCG or grocery retail.
  • Experiences of first point contact for retailers such as Waitrose, TESCO, Morrison, Sainsbury’s, etc.
  • Proven track record in developing new channels and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and motivating performance.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK and ROI retail market; chilled/ambient sector experience desirable.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage P&L and deliver margin improvements.
  • Degree-level education desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across UK, ROI, and Europe.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and adaptable to fast-changing market conditions.
