Housing Disrepair Lawyer – Locum – Hybrid Working

£50 – £55 per hour umbrella.

A well-regarded London Borough Council is seeking a Housing Disrepair lawyer to join them on a locum basis, to start as soon as possible. The Housing Disrepair Lawyer will be required to handle a full caseload, including complex matters with minimal or no supervision.

This locum assignment is for a minimum of 3 months, with the view to extend further. They are operating a hybrid working model, with office attendance one day per week.

Duties will include:

• Housing Disrepair caseload (all stages of pre‑litigation/litigation)
• Prepare and process cases and legal documents in the area of disrepair for Housing and Litigation
• Provide responsive advice on the management of risk on legal issues
• Work within the Legal Housing team to provide accurate, comprehensive and proactive legal advice to internal and external clients within the legal specialism of disrepair decisions and case work
