The Role
This Legal 500, regional law firm is looking for an additional lawyer to join its criminal team in Leeds. You will be taking on specialist criminal defence matters under the supervision of a senior colleague and will be encouraged to contribute to the growth of the team through business development initiatives.
The Candidate
You will be a Newly Qualified Solicitor or an experienced Paralegal with a solid background and interest in criminal law. You should have a strong understanding of criminal procedure and be confident in managing your own workload with appropriate supervision. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a professional and proactive approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. You will be highly organised, able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, and motivated to develop your career within private criminal defence.
