Job Description:

A highly regarded, forward-thinking West End law firm is seeking a Senior Residential Property Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join one of the most sought-after teams in London.

The Firm

This firm is a well-established name within the London residential property market, recognised for delivering high-quality work across a diverse client base. Acting for high-net-worth individuals, investors and long-standing private clients, they regularly handle high-value transactions across prime London.

The firm combines the best elements of several leading West End practices — offering a premium, partner-led service on complex matters, alongside the efficiency and structure of a modern, well-run conveyancing team. They have built a strong reputation for reliability, commercial awareness and consistently high standards.

Despite its size, the firm punches well above its weight and frequently competes with Top 50 firms in terms of the quality of work it attracts. In recent years, it has experienced steady growth driven by strategic hires, strong client relationships and an increasing volume of instructions.

Culturally, the firm offers a genuinely collegiate and supportive environment. Lawyers are given autonomy, strong client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in the team’s continued growth, all while benefiting from a healthy work-life balance and flexible approach.

The Role

The firm is now looking to recruit a Senior Residential Property Solicitor (4+ PQE) into its busy and growing West End team.

Responsibilities

  • High-value sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
  • Complex re-mortgages and refinancing matters
  • Transfers of equity and ownership restructuring
  • Lease extensions and enfranchisement matters

In addition, you will:

  • Take a lead role on more complex and high-value transactions
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including HNW individuals and investors
  • Assist in supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Play a part in business development and strengthening referral networks

You will work closely with experienced partners and be a key part of a friendly, dynamic team, with clear opportunities for progression as the department continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Residential Property Solicitor with 4+ years PQE
  • Strong technical ability with experience handling high-value and complex matters
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships independently
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior lawyers is advantageous
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach

Remuneration

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience
  • High-quality, varied workload
  • Clear progression opportunities within a growing team
  • Supportive, collaborative and flexible working culture

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Residential Property Solicitor to join a leading West End firm offering the quality of work associated with larger City practices, combined with a more balanced and personable working environment.
