Location: Leeds
Salary: £43-48k
Hours: Monday to Friday, regular day plus 12pm finish every Friday
+ Christmas shutdown

The Company
Our client is giving you the chance to work for a global manufacturing giant that supplies into some of the biggest names in the sector. As the Environmental Health, Safety & Facilities Engineer your key duties will be to create, implement and maintain a safe, compliant and efficient working environment.
This role will be a key partner across different functions including maintenance, production, manufacturing, where you will present and implement new ideas and culture and optimise site wide performance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report EHS performance metrics, compliance status and audits
- Support internal/external EHS/6s audits, inspections and reporting activities
- Conduct risk assessments including incident reporting, implement corrective and preventative actions
Requirements
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
- Previous experience working with and managing contractors
- Knowledge and experience of UK/EU EHS legislation and building requirements
- Knowledge of LOTO, PUWER highly desirable
