Overview

Surrey / Hybrid

We’re working with a large, complex UK organisation to appoint an Employee Relations Manager on a 12 month contract. This is a hands-on ER role with responsibility for managing complex casework and partnering closely with senior leaders on people matters and change activity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full ER lifecycle (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, whistleblowing, flexible working)
  • Coach and advise line managers on employment law and best practice
  • Own complex ER cases end-to-end, including hearings and tribunal prep
  • Line manage and develop an ER Advisor
  • Support organisational change, including consultation, redundancy and TUPE
  • Drive continuous improvement in ER policy, process and insight

Qualifications

  • Proven senior ER / Employee Relations experience
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident stakeholder influencer in fast-paced environments
