We’re working with a large, complex UK organisation to appoint an Employee Relations Manager on a 12 month contract. This is a hands-on ER role with responsibility for managing complex casework and partnering closely with senior leaders on people matters and change activity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full ER lifecycle (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, whistleblowing, flexible working)
- Coach and advise line managers on employment law and best practice
- Own complex ER cases end-to-end, including hearings and tribunal prep
- Line manage and develop an ER Advisor
- Support organisational change, including consultation, redundancy and TUPE
- Drive continuous improvement in ER policy, process and insight
Qualifications
- Proven senior ER / Employee Relations experience
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident stakeholder influencer in fast-paced environments
