As a Trainee Shift Manager, you will work under the guidance of experienced shift managers and participate in a structured development plan that spans between 3 to 6 months, preparing you for a Shift Manager role, at which point your pay will increase to £13.37 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the company’s policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations, including team management, customer service, and problem resolution.
- Gain hands‑on experience in supervising and coaching team members to ensure high-quality service and efficiency.
- Participate in inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with other managers and departments to meet organizational goals and standards.
- Develop strong leadership skills, problem‑solving abilities, and decision‑making competencies.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both team members and customers.
Training and Development Plan:
The Trainee Shift Manager position is a stepping stone toward becoming a full Shift Manager within our organization. To ensure your successful development, you will go through a structured training and development program, including:
- Orientation and Onboarding: You will receive an orientation to familiarize you with our company culture, policies, and the role’s expectations.
- Shadowing and Mentorship: You will work alongside experienced Shift Managers to observe and learn best practices.
- Training Modules: You will complete training modules covering leadership, operational procedures, team management, and customer service.
- Hands‑on Experience: You will gradually take on more responsibilities as you gain confidence and experience.
- Performance Reviews: Regular performance reviews will be conducted to assess your progress and provide feedback.
- Graduation to Full Shift Manager: Upon successful completion of the training period and meeting performance expectations, you will be promoted to a full Shift Manager position.
