We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support our construction operations across sites in the North and Midlands. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting project teams in delivering safe and efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections across multiple construction projects
- Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and company policies
- Carry out risk assessments, method statement reviews, and audits
- Investigate incidents, near–misses, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to site teams
- Work closely with site managers, subcontractors, and senior leadership
- Maintain accurate H&S documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within construction
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (essential); Diploma (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
- Ability to manage multiple sites and travel regularly between locations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence required
