We are recruiting for a QSHE Coordinator to join a well‑established manufacturing business in the Wellingborough area. This is a hands‑on, systems‑focused role supporting the Managing Director and working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure environmental, compliance and management systems are maintained to a high standard across the site.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and wants to play a key role in keeping a manufacturing business compliant, efficient and environmentally responsible.
You will not be managing a team, but you will hold a senior and respected position within the business, supporting key operational and compliance activities across the site.
The QSHE Coordinator Role
You will take ownership of QSHE systems and environmental compliance processes across the business, ensuring standards are maintained and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems alongside the H&S Manager
- Completing approximately 30 internal audits per year
- Supporting corrective actions and ensuring system improvements are implemented
- Managing environmental compliance and waste management processes
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
- Recording and monitoring water and energy usage
- Completing Legionella dip testing and maintaining accurate compliance records
- Conducting technical waste assessments using MDS
- Assessing recyclability, hazardous materials and chemical breakdown of waste streams
- Supporting the Managing Director with compliance and environmental reporting
- Ensuring all documentation and records are accurate, structured and audit ready
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working in QSHE, QHSE, Environmental or Compliance within manufacturing
- Experience working with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
- Experience with audits and compliance documentation
- Environmental or waste management knowledge is highly beneficial
- Confident working independently and supporting senior leadership
- A structured and methodical approach to work
