In the heart of Enfield EdEx are working with a high-achieving Secondary School who are on the hunt for a Geography Teacher / Geography ECT for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Geography Teacher / Geography ECT who is keen to add value to a successful Geography Department and who is part of supportive leadership and excellent behaviour.

The schools are well invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices, developing their own staff and heavily investing in CPD, coaching and wellbeing. It is an exciting time to join!

ECTs are welcomed and will be enrolled onto the school's very own bespoke ECT induction, have a dedicated mentor, regular observations, in-house and out of house training and the chance to work alongside a range of young and experienced Geography Teachers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Inspire and motivate the younger generation.
• Work alongside a team of fantastic Geography Teachers.
• Teaching Geography across KS3-KS5 depending on experience.

September 2026 start – Full time & Permanent.

MPS1-UPS3 – £37,870 – £56,154

Located in the Borough of Enfield.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining.
• Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs.
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level.
• Must be able to work as part of a large team of Geography Teachers.
• Must be willing to listen to feedback.
