Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a committed, skilled, and passionate Children’s Home Manager to join our Residential Services on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is dedicated to delivering outstanding care and achieving excellent outcomes for children and young people.
This role will begin with maternity cover at Robin House, one of our therapeutic residential homes, before transitioning to the management of another home within our growing and ambitious residential service.
About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for the children in our care. Your leadership will ensure that the home meets high regulatory standards, provides trauma‑informed and child‑centred practice, and sustains a positive culture where children can thrive.
You will be supported by a strong management structure, including a Service Lead and Clinical Team, who will work collaboratively with you to ensure high‑quality, relational care across the service.
This permanent role offers you the opportunity not only to lead within Robin House during the maternity period, but also to continue your leadership journey as you move to manage another children’s home within Lincolnshire thereafter.
About Robin House
Robin House is a therapeutic children’s home for children aged 6–15. The team work closely with Clinical Psychologists and Complex Needs Link Workers to offer a warm, homely environment built on:
- Trauma‑informed practice
- Social pedagogy
- Attachment‑aware care
- Child‑centred therapeutic support
You will join an experienced, nurturing staff team dedicated to providing stability, trust, and excellent outcomes for children.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven leadership experience within children’s residential care
- Is passionate about therapeutic, relational, and trauma‑informed practice
- Can lead, develop, and motivate a team to deliver high‑quality, reflective practice
- Holds (or is working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
- Has strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
