Freight Sales Executive – 2 Year Experience Required Within The Freight Industry – Manchester – Permanent Role.
Salary: £50,000 + OTE
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm – no weekends required.
Silver Arrow require an experienced Freight Sales Executive to work for an international logistics and freight forwarding company based in the Manchester area.

Your Role:
- Proactively scope new business opportunities
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas agents.
- Ensure ongoing liaison with existing clients
- Follow up of prospective customers
- Identify sales opportunities whilst profiling all new businesses
- Track and manage the CRM system
- Represent the company in the best possible light with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate a track record of developing and enhancing current client portfolios
- You will join the UK Sales team where you will be covering the North West region
- Some office attendance is required but working from home will also be considered
What we need from you:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Sales, within the Freight industry
- Strong new business development
- Knowledge of Import and Export multimodal business
- High quality communication skillsGood understanding of logistics processes and procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft packages especially MS Excel and general PC knowledge
- Must be flexible with your working hours, with the ability to work from home if required
- Have technical selling skills and product knowledge
- Have the ability to influence and negotiate
- Full UK Driving licence is essential
