Role

This is a high-impact National Account Manager position with full ownership of Northern Ireland accounts, playing a key role within the wider Ireland commercial strategy. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering customer plans, driving growth across the portfolio, and building strong, strategic relationships both externally and internally. This role is based in Northern Ireland with an expectation of commuting to the ROI head office weekly and when required. Approx. 90% of your time will be working from home or customer-facing, with 10% spent in the ROI head office.

What you’ll do

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders to deliver Joint Business Plans aligned to sales objectives
  • Develop deep expertise across Northern Ireland accounts, using insight and networks to accelerate performance
  • Own and lead the Northern Ireland commercial strategy within the wider Ireland business
  • Deliver Net Trade Sales, RSV, profit, and market share targets across your portfolio
  • Lead the delivery of the annual plan and budget in line with overall business strategy
  • Create and execute high-quality Joint Business Plans and Account Plans to unlock growth
  • Implement all year round, seasonal plans, and NPD launches with excellence across distribution, merchandising, and phasing
  • Optimise commercial investment to deliver sustainable growth
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure strong alignment and best in class execution
  • Deliver pace across account development, meeting key deadlines and customer requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Proven, substantial sales experience within a leading FMCG business, with a strong track record managing Northern Ireland accounts
  • Strong P&L ownership and consistent success delivering Joint Business Plans
  • Experience delivering both all year round and seasonal plans from a commercial and logistical perspective
  • A confident, influential communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Highly driven, tenacious, and results focused
  • Ability to work cross functionally across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical capability with experience managing significant budgets and investments
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and influence others
