Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Civil Litigation Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a supportive team and gain hands‑on experience in Civil Litigation.

What you’ll do

When you join the Davisons Law team as a Civil Litigation Solicitor / Legal Executive, you will manage your own case load with minimum supervision. The successful candidate will handle a variety of civil disputes, providing legal advice and representation for clients in matters including but not limited to consumer disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, possession claims, debt recovery, partnership disputes, intellectual property disputes, contract disputes, general civil disputes with experience in building & construction disputes and general commercial disputes. Draft witness statements.

You will have a minimum of 2 to 5 Years PQE as a Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with new and existing clients.
• Manage own work allocation; proven track record as a Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive Fee Earner.
• Attend and represent clients in court when requested.
• Gather evidence to support the client's case.
• Process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis.
• Strong organisational skillset, IT literate and experience of using web-based case management systems.
• Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact on the practice, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
• Support and develop assistants and paralegals within the Civil Litigation department.
• Have experience in building & construction disputes and general commercial disputes.
• Experience of handling client enquiries both face to face, remotely and by telephone.
