Overview

Science Teacher / Science ECT – Kingston area: a permanent, full‑time position starting September 2026 at an outstanding secondary school.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and motivate students in the science department
  • Collaborate with a team of science teachers
  • Take on TLR opportunities such as KS3 Coordinator and pastoral responsibilities
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will receive bespoke induction and 1:1 mentoring, with access to in‑house and external training

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academic record: degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  • Ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a Good or Outstanding level
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a large team of science teachers
