London (Waterloo) – This role follows a flexible hybrid model, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our Waterloo office and 2 days remote.

About The Role

As our HR Operations Support Manager, you will hold a central, high-visibility role that touches every stage of the employee lifecycle. You will drive the candidate experience by overseeing full-cycle recruitment and building a diverse talent brand. Once a new hire joins, you will manage the seamless onboarding process, from contracts and background checks to induction. Your scope continues through the day-to-day journey, where you will manage payroll, administer benefits, and act as a trusted advisor to managers on performance and employee relations. You will also play a key role in growth through L&D administration and internal engagement initiatives. Finally, you will ensure a professional and compliant exit process during off‑boarding. Beyond HR, you will take ownership of our office environment, overseeing health & safety and facilities to ensure our team has a safe and functional space.

What We’re Looking For.

  • You possess proven experience as an HR Generalist in the UK, within a small to medium-sized technology or digital scale‑up business.
  • You enjoy a broad remit that captures all the moments that matter across the entire employee lifecycle.
  • You have a deep understanding of UK employment law, ACAS guidelines, and GDPR compliance.
  • You are a confident communicator who can manage complex employee relations issues and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are flexible and adaptable and comfortable providing broader business support including office and facilities management as well as H&S.
  • You thrive on data, with the ability to maintain HR systems and use analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • You have bias for action and can day‑to‑day administration with a drive for continuous process improvement.
