Thisisafulltime,permanentposition.Therolehashybridworkingafterprobation(3daysintheoffice/2daysremote),andthehoursare09:00-17:30.
PayrollOfficerdutiesandresponsibilities:
- Process client payroll accurately, prepare and submit payslips.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of clients.
- Prepare Year End returns for clients, including P60s and P11Ds, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with advice and guidance, answering queries arising from the Payroll Assistants.
- Assist with calculation of absence including sickness, leave and statutory payments.
- Perform any other tasks associated with payroll to complete payrolls within agreed deadlines.
PayrollOfficerskillsandexperiencerequired:
- Demonstrable experience managing client payroll within a professional services organisation.
- STAR payroll software experience.
- Sound bureau experience.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer service skills and professional telephone manner.
- Computer literate.
