Primary Purpose of Position

The 4‑H Extension Agent is a professional educator who designs, implements, and evaluates comprehensive 4‑H programs that meet the needs of youth ages 5‑18 in Nash County. The agent leads a county‑wide 4‑H program, recruits and trains volunteers, supports 4‑H clubs, and provides opportunities for youth to participate in school‑based and community 4‑H activities. The role involves program planning, marketing, administration, and evaluation while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
