Permanent – Hayes – £47k – Monday to Friday

MJM Industrial are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer for a permanent position based in Hayes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable engineer who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately within a fast‑paced operational environment.

The successful candidate will join a professional engineering team responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising equipment and facilities to ensure maximum reliability and performance. You will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day operations through proactive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, repairing, and servicing plant, building, and equipment.
• Utilising your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to diagnose and fix equipment breakdowns.
• Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise the equipment and processes.
• Participating in preventative maintenance.
• Participating in reactive maintenance.
• Working with the engineering team and other departments to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday – mornings and evening shifts, with plenty of overtime on weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of automation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Own tools.
• A flexible and adaptable work style, as the role requires working shifts (including evenings and weekends) as needed.
• A proactive and problem‑solving approach.
