As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day, night after night. What you’ll do
- Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
- Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
- Manage operations within your store and oversee colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly
- Provide customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
What you’ll need
- Experience in leading a sizeable team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast‑paced environment
- The ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
- Patience and a friendly manner, with the ability to keep calm in any situation
- Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team
- A proactive and encouraging approach to help your colleagues develop themselves and improve store operations
