Packaging Associate I

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Packaging Associate I to join our production team in East Grinstead. This role is vital to the manufacture of microbiological diagnostic products used in healthcare and food safety.

This is a 9‑month contract position within a controlled cleanroom environment, offering a great entry point into the life sciences and manufacturing sector.

The Role

• Production Support: Feeding, checking, and loading plates onto drying trays.
• Packing & Labeling: Sealing products in foil pouches and boxing them for shipment.
• Quality Control: Ensuring batch numbers are reconciled and documentation is updated accurately.
• Environment Upkeep: Maintaining cleanliness standards within a controlled cleanroom area.

Schedule & Pay

Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour (plus 20% shift allowance).

Hours: 31.5 hours per week.

Shift Pattern: Rotating 2‑week schedule (includes alternating weekends).

Shift Times: Varied starts between 07:30 and 09:15.

Overtime: Available.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: No previous experience required (full training provided). Experience in manufacturing, production, or a lab setting is a plus.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict processes.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift moderate weights and work on your feet.
