We’re looking for a Product Compliance Specialist who will play a key role in managing product certifications, supporting sustainability and packaging compliance, and contributing to a range of System Improvement activities across the business.

Responsibilities

What You’ll be Doing at Kerakoll

• Identifying all mandatory local, national, and international regulations applicable to product and sustainability compliance and certification
• Collaborating with relevant business functions to determine and apply applicable regulations, standards, and conformity requirements
• Undertaking the feasibility analysis of product compliance, sustainability and certification requirements
• Lead and oversee the end-to-end process for obtaining mandatory product or sustainability certifications
• Coordinate with internal functions and external laboratories/accredited certification bodies for the required product testing and certification.
• Monitoring systems to ensure that the processes linked with production and quality control consistently result in products that meet the required standards, performance specifications, and declared characteristics.
• Managing UKCA mark labelling and packaging compliance in addition to sustainability regulation and standards packaging compliance
• Preparing, updating and maintaining the technical product documentation and declarations
• Conducting internal compliance audits and coordinating external audits where necessary.
• Researching, evaluating and proposing additional market standards, certifications and legislations to continually evolve the certification of our product, potential sustainability improvements relating to the environmental impact of products and packaging
• Responsibilities where full training will be provided based on internal ways of working; Supporting Quality Assurance with activities to improve the Improvement Management System and Managing the Environmental Product Declarations process

• Cross‑functional collaboration — works effectively with R&D, Quality, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and external partners.
• Structured organisation skills — manages multiple compliance workflows, deadlines, and documentation streams.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset — seeks to refine processes, strengthen controls, and raise compliance maturity.
• Resilience under pressure — remains calm and methodical when dealing with audits, deadlines, or regulatory changes.
• Ethical and accountable — acts as a trusted guardian of compliance integrity and product conformity
