Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare is looking to recruit 1 Administration Officer to join the NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire Step 3 Service, on a 12‑month full‑time external fixed‑term contract or a full‑time 12‑month internal secondment.
The team is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated administrator to ensure that the administration of the NHSTTH service is carried out efficiently and professionally. The role will be varied but will include the booking of patient appointments and supporting Step 3 therapists.
The post will be based at New Kings Court, Chandlers Ford, and the successful candidate will be required to work with other members of the NHSTTH administration and management team as well as external partners, such as Solent Mind.
The successful applicant will be expected to have a positive approach to customer care, excellent communication skills, and be able to work in a very demanding and busy environment. The successful applicant will also have excellent IT skills and a willingness to learn.

Main duties of the job
- Contribute to the day‑to‑day administrative processes of the NHSTTH Step 3 Service, becoming an expert user of IAPTUS to provide support for Step 3 and updating the system with appropriate information.
- Provide admin support to the Group Facilitators and Lead.
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post, including generating letters.
- Ensure all emails are answered promptly and effectively and deliver messages accurately to the clinical team using professional judgement as required.
- Send direct booking links to patients and respond to any queries.
- Cover periods of sickness and annual leave for the other Administration Officers across the Step 3 teams.
- Undertake other appropriate duties delegated by the Senior Management Team which aid the running of the NHSTTH service.
- Maintain working relationships with other HIOW Healthcare teams, partner agencies, external agencies, and referrers.
