Assistant Manager – Infrastructure Grants Project Management

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to play a critical role in managing large and complex grant investments, supporting the design and delivery of key strategic housing projects across England within a multi-disciplinary team committed to improving infrastructure and unlocking hundreds of thousands of homes.

About the Role

The Assistant Manager will work with the Head of and Assistant Director of Infrastructure Grants Project Management, delivering first‑class customer service and resolving project delivery issues informally wherever possible. You will support the design, delivery, and resolution of complex contractual and delivery issues, ensuring projects perform in line with expectations and delivering innovative solutions to the infrastructure funding offering. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, manage commercial and operational impacts, and help create new communities and places.

About You

You are comfortable supporting Infrastructure Grants with complex project delivery issues, have professional qualifications in project management, assurance and monitoring in the built environment, and are resilient in managing senior stakeholders. You enjoy working innovatively, persuading and negotiating, and you can demonstrate teamwork, collaboration and inclusive working.
