Overview

We’re looking for a Night Shift Supervisor to join the Pen Y Bont Evri family. The night shift runs 5 days out of 7 from 23:00-07:00 depending on volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of up to 50 direct reports, providing leadership and direction for the shift
• Develop and train reports and ensure SLA’s are hit for the night shift
• Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations
• Process BI and MI reports based on work output of drivers and loaders
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Essential Skills & Experience

• Management experience leading and managing a team
• Experience of managing teams in a fast‑paced logistics environment (definite advantage)
• Ability to work on own initiative in a pressurized environment to tight deadlines
• PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Understanding of transport regulations (ideally)
